Summary: This position will oversee and be ultimately responsible for the daily operational management of the hospice, as well as supervisory responsibility for the entire hospice staff. He/She will be responsible for the leadership, development, management, and daily operations of the agency. This is primarily a business development position. Candidate must have the ability to build market share by developing new and existing programs, maintaining patient and referral source satisfaction, and enhancing the quality and visibility of our services.
Program development includes marketing, recruiting, volunteer programs, public education, chaplain services, financial services and coordination with our non-profit charity. This position will be responsible for effective team-building between these programs and clinical services.
Position will also be responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the hospice, including implementing and maintaining efficiencies within the operation and operating under budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications/Experience: Knowledge of health care resources and other community resources is desired. A minimum of an associate degree in business, health care administration or related field or 5 years experience in a position with an emphasis on business/management of a healthcare organization is preferred. |
